GoAccount ("we", "our", or "us") is a cloud-based accounting software product developed and operated by YRHP INDIA. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal and business information.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you visit our website (https://goaccount.in/), register for an account, or use our accounting software and related services.

By accessing or using GoAccount, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the practices described herein.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account Registration: Name, email address, phone number, business name, GSTIN, and password when you sign up.
• Business Data: Customer details, vendor records, invoices, products, inventory, expense entries, and other accounting records you create within the software.
• Payment Information: Subscription plan details and billing information (payment processing is handled by third-party gateways — we do not store full card numbers).
• Contact & Support: Messages, queries, or feedback you send us via the contact form, email, phone, or WhatsApp.
• Profile Settings: Business logo, address, bank details, and other configuration you add to your GoAccount profile.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Log Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, pages visited, time and date of visits, and referring URLs.
• Device Information: Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet), screen resolution, and hardware identifiers.
• Usage Data: Features used, reports generated, frequency of use, session duration, and in-app actions.
• Cookies & Tracking: Session cookies, authentication tokens, and analytics cookies (see Section 6).

2.3 Information from Third Parties

• GST portal data that you authorise GoAccount to access for GSTR reconciliation purposes.
• Bank statement data you voluntarily upload for bank reconciliation features.

• Service Delivery: To provide, operate, and maintain the GoAccount software and all its features.
• Account Management: To create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, and provide role-based access.

Your accounting data (invoices, ledgers, transactions) belongs to you and is never accessed by YRHP INDIA staff without your permission, except for technical support when you specifically request it.

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using 256-bit SSL/TLS.
• Encryption at Rest: Sensitive data is encrypted at rest on our database servers.
• Automated Backups: Your data is automatically backed up every 24 hours to geographically redundant servers.
• Access Controls: Internal access to customer data is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis.
• Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Available for all GoAccount accounts to add an extra layer of protection.
• Data Location: Your data is stored on servers located in India, complying with applicable Indian data localisation guidelines.

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no system is completely immune to threats. We encourage you to use a strong password and enable 2FA on your account.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience on GoAccount. Here is what we use:

• Essential Cookies: Required for login sessions and security. These cannot be disabled without breaking the service.
• Preference Cookies: Remember your settings such as language or theme preferences.

• Restrict Processing: Request that we stop processing your data for specific purposes while a dispute is resolved.

8. Third-Party Services & Links

GoAccount may integrate with or link to third-party services including:

• GST Portal (gstin.gov.in) for GSTN verification and return filing
• Payment gateways for subscription billing
• WhatsApp Business API for invoice sharing and support
• Google Analytics for website analytics
• Cloud hosting infrastructure providers

These third parties have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies. YRHP INDIA is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

Our website may contain links to external websites. Clicking those links and leaving our site means you are subject to the privacy policy of the destination website.

9. Children's Privacy

GoAccount is a business software platform intended for use by adults and registered businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.
